BetTrader Evolution Version 3
Change as you see fit but run changes back past me pleeeeeeeeeeease J
Carly
A very special Scalper….
Here at RacingTraders we may have been quiet for a few months, but it has been a very productive silence.
We have a new release of Evo for you to sink your teeth into and as ever, RacingTraders are first with a fully featured new Mode. Start your photocopiers!
So what it is?… Could it be new chart technology – no that’s ‘so last month’, OK then, tools allowing you to predict the next play in a football or Tennis match – no, we wouldn’t want to take away the fun for you.
Evo3 gives you the next step in trading technology – Training/Simulation Mode, You can now trade live markets usign a training bank.
This is a full simulator with built in intelligence allowing you to experiance the market as if you were traidng with real money.
If you’re learning, developing a system or just having a bad week but still want a bit of a play, training mode is for you.
Evo3 with Training Mode will be available on the 17th of November allowing you to trade with whatever bank you set yourself and know, at the end of the session that you are going to shut the computer without losing a penny.
Training mode isn’t just for learners either. Evo polls the live Betfair data so you can see the exact market responses and get a great feel for what is going on.  If you are an experienced trader developing a new strategy or system, you can test with varying stakes without risking any of your bank.
This is the essential piece of kit for new traders and pretty invaluable for more experienced ones too.
Cost
These is no change to the subscription price of Evo3, if you have an active subscrion now you will get training mode free, thisd isnt a bolt on we are charing for.
New subscription type
Evo3 is also bringing in the ability to purchase ‘days’ of subscription too.  You can chose to use your days when you want – within their six-month validity and still have full use of the ladder and grid (at non-turbo speed) at all other times.
You may be happy using Evo in non-turbo mode to trade a slower paced game such as Cricket or Football, but want to have turbo switched on for a few afternoons of scalping.  By purchasing days you can do just that.  Each day runs for 24 hours from first activation and each parcel of days purchased expires six-months after purchase.  Days start at £5 for 3, giving you flexible, cost-effective options for your trading.
Download process significantly improved
Due to Betfair’s permissioning process many people had difficulty downloading and installing Evo.  Evo3 will handle this process for you from within the program and it is now a straigtforward process which will see you up and running in a matter of minutes.
Hide wallet contents
After recent discussions on the forum, the ability to hide the wallet amount is now available.  Clicking on  the flag will show/hide your wallet contents.
Improved bet placement function
The developer has worked through all minor bugs and hiccups that we occasionally experience in Evo and as a result, we are seeing a much more robust trading environment with no reported bet errors to date.
All this will be available to you on Wed 17th November.  Due to the great new features which are only available to subscription holders, we will be running FreEvo3 week from Wed 17th to Wed 24nd November and there will also be some not-to-be-missed offers on subscriptions.
Thats correct, Evo 3 will be free for everyon ein full speed mode and training mode activated for all for one week.
Competition
And, where would the Scalper be without a bit of a competition?   On November 25th, in Brisbane, a challenge which started 128 years ago will once again get underway.  England will defend the Ashes title in Australia.  I know that my cricket loving Anglo-Australian household will be divided and that many mocking phone calls to and from in-laws will be made and received.
The competition, not quite as testing as England’s challenge, is simply what will the opening batsman’s score be.  This being the Batsman who is listed as number 1 on the team sheet of the side who bats first.
Obviously the score may be a duck, and he may even be not out at the end of the innings.   First answer sent will be accepted.  Answers in the comments below….
Entries close at 9am on November 24th.

Hunters and Farmers

Are you a Hunter or a Farmer?

A long time ago there came a divide in the world. Civilisation split. Farming was invented and it changed the whole way of life for a lot of people. Up until then most people had hunted for their food and those people and their family either lived or died by their ability.

Hunters and farmers are obviously extremely different people. The farmers need to think and plan long term and know what will happen a year or two in advance so they could get their crops right and ready. They spend time worrying about the small stuff, the “what if’s” and the “maybe’s”. They have to make choices about seeds and crops and breeding and weather and do their best to avoid disaster, sometimes a year’s work can be blown away in a day and the farmer can be left with nothing. … Continue Reading

The Scalper July 2010

So, the World Cup is nearly at an end, Spain & Holland will meet on Sunday afternoon to make World Cup history when one of them becomes the first European team to lift football’s highest prize in the Southern Hemisphere.

The players, managers, coaches, officials, support staff, administrators and supporters have toiled for the last four years to come to this point and it will be decided in (a little more than) ninety short minutes. But don’t worry, there’s not even five weeks until the English Premier League kicks off again, so all your footie needs will be fulfilled then… … Continue Reading

The Scalper May 2010

Welcome to the May issue of the Scalper.

Tool Tip

This month’s tool tip is fill or kill. This allows you to specify a time limit for your bet to be offered for submission. This can be of great use in volatile markets such as cricket or tennis where the price can jump significantly without very much warning. Simply tell Evo how long you want the bet to be available for and place the bet as usual. If your bet is not matched, it will vanish after the specified amount of time.  … Continue Reading
