What’s new at Racingtraders?

The Evolution 2.0 user manual is complete and is available now.

All is ticking along very well with version 2.0.5 and now the important changes are all done we can release a user manual that won’t change on a weekly basis as we add more features! Any further changes to Evo will only require a quick update to the manual. At the bottom of each page on the manual there is a link if you spot any changes you feel should be made.

Tool Tip

The Tool Tip for March is the Stop Loss. This tool is great for those that have problems taking small losses quickly. The Stop Loss tool can be set any number of ticks away from your original bet and can be moved once placed. It can also be set to follow a positive price movement so when the price reverses your stop loss is right there ready to capture the profits before the price falls or rises further. Here is a video of the tool in action and shows it’s several uses.

Upcoming Events

Once a year it comes around and that time is now! Yes Cheltenham is on this month, from March 16-19 and it looks to be shaping up nicely. Will Denman beat Kauto Star? Tony McCoy on his first ride on Denman was unseated and will be looking for revenge. How many will line up against them? Everyone thinks they have the race between them. There are plenty of opportunities to make money at Cheltenham from backing a long priced winner, to laying a short price loser or just scalping the prices before the race.

Scalping is far easier at Cheltenham as the prices are very stable and although your bets take longer to get matched due to the high volume, the market won’t go screaming off in the wrong direction too often and if it does, it won’t go too far.

What are your plans for Cheltenham? Are you taking a few days off? Have you sent the other half and the kids to Butlins for a few days so you can get serious? Will you be trading alone or with a friend or “trading buddy”? Have you booked a seat in a trading room?  Whatever you choose to do, enjoy yourself and make some money.

March also sees the start of the Indian Premier League cricket tournament and there will once again be some great matches to trade there. There are Champions League matches, Europa league matches, FA Cup, English Premier League, the opportunities are abundant for trading.

Let’s not also forget that the Formula 1 season kicks of in Bahrain too this month.  Check out our competition to test your skills predicting the F1 results in the first race.

Trading Courses

If anyone is after some tuition on using Evolution, maybe getting to grips with all the tools and features there is plenty of choice. You can be helped via Skype one to one or in a group in Paltalk or in a trading room environment or even in your own home. Courses are available but bookings are essential as they are filled very quickly when offered. There are also courses available for general trading on sports or specialist horse racing courses. Competition

There was no winner last month as the correct answer of 48 points in the Superbowl was the one number nobody selected. We had several guesses at 47 and 49 but nobody got 48! So we have a rollover and this month, somebody could win a 12 month subscription – worth £130 just for working out who will get 1st and 2nd place (who stands on the podium regardless of any subsequent enquiries) at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday 14th March.  We can’t make it too easy for you!
