Betfair Username and Wallets
![]()
The name you see here should be your Betfair Username. Betfair currently operate in two markets, the UK and Australia. These wallets are separate. To transfer money into or between these accounts, you must sign in to betfair.com and click the transfer button. Be aware that if you are trading on an Australian market, you’ll need to have money in the Australian wallet.
To hide the amount of money that you have in your wallets, click on either country flag and the amount will disappear. This only happens for the current market and the amount will reappear when you open the next market. This is to comply with Betfair/Gambling Commission regulations.
Subscription Expiry Time/Turbo-Mode Off
![]()
When you first download Evolution, you get a 7 day trial at full speed. The date that you see in this area is when that trial ends. If you don’t see your free 7 day trial, contact support.
If you have purchased a repeating subscription then the expiry date will have a date some time in the future.
If you have purchased days, you will see the number of days and their expiry date (Days expire 6 months after purchase). For example 10 days/30 June 2011.
Turbo-Mode Off/30 Second Turbo Boost . When you have run out of subscription time, the date changes to say ‘Turbo-Mode Off’. At this point you can continue to use Evolution, but the prices are updated at 5 second intervals. Each time you open a new market, you will get a 30 Second Turbo Boost.

Control Buttons—Ladder/Grid Mode
The Ladder button toggles your view between Ladder Mode and Grid Mode (default). These are two different ways of representing the Betfair data that Evo receives for a market. The Grid Mode is similar to how the data is represented on Betfair. The Ladder Mode was introduced by Adam Todd, original owner of RacingTraders, as a more fluent and intuitive way of perceiving the market data.
